Cast Iron Foot Valve

The function of the foot valve is to ensure the one-way flow of liquid in the suction pipe, so that the pump can work normally; When the pump stops working for a short time, the liquid cannot return to the water source tank to ensure that the suction pipe is filled with liquid to facilitate the start of the pump.

At the end of the valve is an energy saving valve, generally installed at the bottom of the pump underwater suction pipe, limiting the return of liquid to the water tank, plays only into the function.

The foot valve is welded to the bottom of the vessel for optimum emptying, cleaning and sanitizing.
